"D.C. Warlords"

Two U.S. Park Police are about to die, but they have no clue as to what awaits them. These Park Police Officers are women, although that’s not relevant to this story-except that men, especially cops, hate to see women die at the hand of human garbage.

It’s early evening in Southwest Washington, D.C. Five men in a white Town Car are stopped for a simple traffic violation. Independence Avenue, near the Lincoln Memorial.

The police women, each wearing body armor, stand on opposite sides of the car. Before they can say a word, both are cut down in a volley of automatic weapons fire.

The first officer is struck in the head, throat and chest and is dead before she hits the ground. The second officer is hit in the face, neck, and chest. The Town Car pulls away slowly. The killers have no feelings of remorse. They are D.C. Warlords, men of violence who care for little except their own avarice.

The second Park Police officer, with her dying breath, whispers into the police radio: "Officers down. Independence at The Mall. Five males, early ’90s Town Car, white in color, D.C. four number tag..." and she dies.

Within minutes U.S. Park Police and D.C. cops set up a perimeter and begin sealing off the grid. It’s less than seven minutes since the assassinations.

The thugs in the Town Car appear unconcerned as they approach a police blockade on Rock Creek Parkway near the zoo. The Town Car stops. Three of the killers on the passenger side and two from across the rooftop coldly take aim with automatic weapons and open fire on police.

The cops are ready. They return fire with a barrage of their own: 9 mm semi-automatic pistols, 12-gauge shotguns, and MP5 automatic rifles. More than 100 rounds of ammunition are exchanged in only a few minutes. The air is filled with low-hanging blue smoke.

Police know these gunfighters, and know they had only contempt for law and order. This night there are seven dead bodies on the streets of the Nation’s Capitol. Five had crawled out of the gutter. Two of the dead were lady cops just trying to do their duty.
